This morning Baltimore’s State Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced the six officers involved in Freddie Gray’s arrest would be charged. The 35 year old +Tuskegee University graduate is the youngest State Attorney, and has been in office for 4 months. The city seems to be a peace with the decision, however there has already been an open letter from the Baltimore police union sent to Mosby stating,
“none of the officers involved are responsible for the death of (Freddie) Gray.” “To the contrary, at all times, each of the officers diligently balanced their obligations to protect Mr. Gray and discharge their duties to protect the public,”
wrote Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police President Gene Ryan.
