Cancer season is almost over, but before it ends I will be sharing all the treats from my birthday. My birthday landed on a Sunday this year, and my boyfriend surprised me with a special brunch by the water at a metro Atlanta area restaurant — Canoe located in the Vinings. Our brunch date had everything that makes brunch perfect — a great view, farm-to-table food, and great company.
The seasonal menu at Canoe had a lot of mouth-watering options. We started with a mixed basket of homemade Georgia Pecan Sticky Buns and Sweet and Savory Scones served with honey butter and homemade preserves. Ameer decided to try his first Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and I took a deep dive for the Crispy Rock Shrimp Salad with Sweet Pepper Remoulade.
Note: On Sunday’s, alcohol isn’t served until the afternoon, so if you are looking to try Canoe‘s amazing Mimosas plan accordingly.
If you are looking for a place to have romantic brunch or a mid-day event Canoe would be the perfect place. I give it an A+ in environment and food.
