Here are a few of my key takeaways:
1. Radical self care is not an option, but a priority when dealing with menstrual pain and inflammation.
2. The reason why so many say get pregnant when you have Endometriosis, is because the high levels of progesterone that help relieve symptoms. Ask your doctor about progesterone on your journey next time it’s brought up.
3. Working out helps! Start at a pace and cadence that feels good, and keep going.
4. If you are at the start of your journey and aren’t getting the answers you need, go see a specialist. You don’t need a referral.
