The seasons are changing, and the one thing I love about this time of year is the way new opportunities seem to blossom — Even if you have to make them blossom yourself! I was talking to a friend the other day, and we had this deep discussion about what we wanted for our lives.
“What REALLY makes you happy!?”Â
That was basically what it boiled down to… If you could have it your way, what would your life be like? And if that is what you really want for yourself, what is stopping you from going after it?!?
My Choice
Choices
I made a choice yesterday that I was going to pursue what makes me happy fully for the next 2 months… Nothing else! And for me, that looks like making a decision to leave Maryland, travel, explore, find inspiration and share it with you!
It was liking joy of picking 2 items of the McPick2 menu — Endless opportunities are in front of me, and I had to make the decision about what was going to be fulfilling!
I felt like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders when I finally decided that was what I was going to do. The joy of being honest with ones’ self! I’m not saying that it is going to be easy… I’m not saying that it will work out exactly how I planned in my head, but I know I will not have any regrets.
Honesty
I am being honest about what I want for my life, and with that comes this unfiltered happiness that goes beyond any growing pains.
The choice to do something with your life that makes you happy. Even if it is only for a couple of hours a week, or a simple decision a day to do one thing that brings joy to your heart — do it!
