Word of 2018

Happy 2018 Verbs! This is my word for the new year to inspire me along my journey — BE!

Reflecting on 2017.

Thinking back on the good, the bad, and everything in between, God is good!

2017 helped me become truly thankful for where God has brought me through. I started off 2017 with this fire to make it a much more positive year then 2016, and I succeed — Endo Awareness Month in March was AMAZING, I fell in love, bought a house, and got a new job.

However, there where major speed bumps that made stopped in my tracks. I slowed down thanks to those bumps — My grandmother’s  passing, my aunt passing a week later, my cancer scare, and a few Endo flares that I haven’t had in over 8 months.

Life is tricky.

We sometimes think speed bumps are stop signs, and in hindsight all we needed to do is switch gears.

I would be silly to think that in 2018 nothing bad will ever happen. I just want to be wise enough to know that everything that happens is pushing me towards my desired outcome, so I just need to BE in every moment.

I need to BE present in every moment.

I need to BE happy no matter the circumstance.

I need to BE free to express myself.

I need to BE authentic enough to share in a way that helps others.

2018.

This year I want to BE exactly who I supposed to be and do the things I supposed to be doing no matter my circumstances. And if I am being fully transparent, I have already been tested. I the first of January was supposed to be dedicated to making video, and my eye decided to swell up on New Years Eve. I got a little discharged, but the first of January isn’t over and the videos are coming!!

My word for 2018 is “BE“, and I plan to live up to it!
