Best Places to Go Apple Picking In Maryland

Happy Fall Verbs! It is officially apple picking season, and it is time to pick apples in Maryland! Klay and I took our 3rd trip to the orchard to kick off apple picking season right. We didn’t want to go far, so we took a quick trip to Baugher’s Orchard in Westminster which is extremely close to Baltimore.

This is our personal go-to. It is a 30 miles away from Baltimore, and that offer a variety of apples for picking. Including Red Delicious, Empire, Fuji, Golden Delicious, Gala, Granny Smith, Ida Red, Jona-Gold and Staymen Winesap. You can stick around and find other locally grown products in the market. Take your kids over to the free pitting zoo, and enjoy the fall activities all season long!

Make sure you grab an Apple Cider Lushy! Klay literally took mine over, and it is a great seasonal drink.

This is a family farm that has been around for 107 years. You can pick your own apples on Saturdays only. Apples available include Gala, and Golden Delicious,Cameo, Nittany, Rome, and York Imperial.

This farm is right on the boarder of Baltimore in Parkville, MD. They have Crimson Crisp, Blondee, Cortland, Jonathan, Daybreak Fuji and Macoun Apples available to pick. When you get done picking, make sure you grab the Apple Cider Donuts!
