Stovetop Potpourri is so easy, and it is an amazing mood booster. It is one of those things that I have added to my weekly self-care checklist. Simply because the smell of fresh herbs and fruits can turn even a quaratined work day into a retreat. Today I am sharing one of my favorite smell hacks — the Williams Sonoma Store Scent!
This scent reminds me of the days of being back in the world, and it is truly a scent that can put me in a good space. What makes this potpourri recipe even better, is you only need 3 simple ingredients — lemon, rosemary, and vanilla. That’s it!
It will have your house smelling amazing for hours! And you will really feel like you are doing something because you are using ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.
Things to Remember When Making Stovetop Potpourri
- Add more water as needed! Don’t let you water get below a cup on the stove. You don’t want to burn your pot.
- Keep it on low. This is a scent that supposed to last. Cooking it on high won’t make the scent stronger.
- Double it up. If you want a stronger scent, double of up the ingredients… Just don’t forget #1 — Keep enough water in your pot at all times.
Bonus: Use a crockpot for a more lasting scent that doesn’t require checking on.
