Call us old school, but my husband and I decided not to find out the sex of our baby with a gender reveal party. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good celebration! However, we had our reasons for finding out the sex of the baby in a classic way. One being that we couldn’t wait to find out, and we want to authentically  have that moment between the two of us. We did however share the news with our family with our own version of a gender reveal party that was priceless!

I will definitely share our reveal with the family soon. For now, here is how we found out what we were having…

There are 5 main reasons why we decided to find out the sex of our baby the classic way, and here they are:

5 Reason Why We Had a Classic Gender Reveal

1. We Couldn’t Wait! We seriously couldn’t wait to see what Little Canzater was going to be. It was always the topic of discussion, so there was no way we were going to leave the ultrasound room with it written on a piece of paper.
2. Emotions. There were a lot of emotions around that reveal. My husband really wanted an “ace”, and I personally didn’t know how I would have reacted if it was a girl, being that I have Endometriosis.
3. It helped us bond. We had a little secret that no one else knew, and we got some amazing giggles out of hearing families reasoning on why it was a girl or boy.
