Spring Cleaning Tips with Open Nature
** This is a sponsored post.**

It’s officially Spring, and that means that it is time to do a little Spring Cleaning. If you are like me, this task may seem a little daunting, but I have some get items and tips to help you out this year.

There have been a lot of things going on in my life this Spring — selling my condo and merging houses with my husband has been the biggest line item, and I have been forced to purge things that I probably would have held on to forever if I wasn’t forced to go through it. With the selling of my condo, I have been faced with another level of cleaning that has opened my eyes to how paying attention to a few details could make any space feel fresh, open, and inviting.

Needless to say, I got it done! Condo cleaned and staged to sell, and this is how I got it done:

Spring Cleaning Tips

Spring Cleaning Tips

Spring Cleaning can be something you continuously put off, but it can actually turn into a pleasant experience with using a few of these tips:

  1. Turn Up the Music! Get a playlist of all of your favorite songs to keep you upbeat.

  2. Start From the Top. Start working from the top of your place tackling cobwebs and windows, and finish up with your floors.

  3. Make it a Family Activity. Cleaning by yourself isn’t a bad thing, but if you share the space with a significant other or kids get them to join the the party.

  4. Pick 4 Areas to Declutter. Don’t just move things around or find a space for items you hardly use, get rid of items you don’t use anymore.

  5. Get the Right Cleaning Products. There is nothing worse than starting your spring cleaning only to realize half way through you don’t have everything you need to get the job done. Open Nature has your covered!

These tips can help you ease through your Spring Cleaning process. If you can’t get it all done in one day, don’t fret! It may take a couple days to get the job completely done.

Need tips on decluttering? I’ve got you covered here in my next post.

Happy Spring Cleaning! Make sure you let me know how it’s going for you.

  1. This is such a great article full of awesome tips. I don’t dislike cleaning, in fact cleaning is something I quite enjoy. What I really dislike is decluttering and putting everything in order, by time I’m ready to start cleaning I’m exhausted! lol

These are all really great tips. I especially like the one about making it a family activity. Cleaning for one person can be a lot but as a team, it’s way better.
