Pregnancy Update – 3rd Trimester

How we are doing so far.

Despite me literally holding my breath through the 1st and 2nd trimester, I can say I can finally breathe a little easier knowing we made it to our 3rd trimester.

Baby Canzater is a fighter!

He literally pushed my fibroids to the side and claimed my womb as his own. We thought my fibroids would be an issue during my pregnancy, but this little one reassured me that there was nothing going to stop him from growing.

He loves cold water, and White Chocolate Macadamia nut cookies  makes him go crazy.

He knows his dad’s voice, and enjoys flipping for him during their conversations at night while I sleep through it all. At night he loves resting on my lungs, and that has caused me to have a serious snoring problem that keeps daddy up a night.

Through it all, I haven’t gained a pound (yet)! Even though I eat everything in sigh. The nurse is always surprised to find out that I am either the same weight, or that I lost a pound. But this hasn’t stopped him from growing healthy and strong like a little bean sprout.

He gets the hiccups often, and I love it!

My entire stomach jumps up and down every time Baby Canzater gets the hiccups. It makes me smile from ear to ear, because I know his nervous system is developing and getting him prepared to life outside the womb.

Pregnancy Cravings

Surprisingly, I haven’t had any cravings.

The only thing that I can say rocked my World was drinking Sprite for the first time in years! I took a sip of soda one day, and for a week straight, I had to have a Sprite. Sprite is no longer my thing, but my husband definitely was confused because he has never seen me drink soda since we meet.

I don’t know if it was the caffeine or the fact that it spiked my tastebuds since water has been my main squeeze since we found out I was pregnant.

Either way, I was hooked!

Things That Make This Pregnancy Journey Easier

I could not live without through my 1st and 2nd Trimester.

Pregnancy Must Have_Oil_Body_Pillow_Yeti

  1.  Body Pillow
  2.  Coconut Oil
  3.  Tummy Oil
  4. Yeti Rambler
  5. Oil Diffuser
  6. Soul Comforting Shoes

Life is 10 times better with these items. Even though my husband laughs at me for “greasing up” at night, I am yet to see a stretch mark (so far). My feet feel like heaven in my “mommy shoes”, and having a cup to keep my water cold all day is a luxury I will never take for granted!

Oh, and my pregnancy jeans from Target gives me life!! Between Target and Asos maternity wear, I have been able to feel cute and stylish on a budget.

Here’s to the countdown to Baby C!
