Welcome to Hotel Revival Baltimore, a gem nestled in the historic heart of Mount Vernon, offering a perfect blend of classical charm and modern vibrancy. This boutique hotel is a part of Joie De Vivre Hotel (JDV) by Hyatt, and boasts elegantly designed guest rooms with luxurious amenities and a charm that feels like home. This is the artful home away from home in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood, with amazing city views of the city monuments. Just a few steps away from the iconic Washington Monument and close to the Walters Art Museum, this hotel is my favorite place when in need of an inspirational boost. The hotel offers so much for all of your sense to take in. Including, farm-to-table dishes, secret bars, private live music, and curated coffee with a local touch, you will appreciate.

It goes without saying that this hotel has a lot to offer! But, what really sets it apart is it’s thoughtfulness to connect art, community, and experience in a meaningful way.
Revival Hotel Room Review
Each room is curated to give you artful and historic symbolism for Baltimore. From the quilted map of the DMV area to the locally sourced toilet tissue in the bathroom, you are in a place that you feel like you belong.
This hotel offers classical rooms with a vibrant experience and inspiration at every turn. The rooms have distinctive art touches that tie in the charm of Baltimore, highlight local business, and have classical furniture while giving you a warm hug of nostalgia for the things that have brought us comfort growing up.
I found myself pouring myself a cup of chamomile tea, snuggling up in the Baltimore quilt laid across the bed, reading some classic comic books on display on the desk in the room.
This boutique hotel boasts elegantly designed guest rooms with luxurious amenities, including white marble walls in the bathroom, oriental moldings, 32-inch flat-screen TVs, an artisan coffee maker, and free WiFi.

The hotel’s on-site restaurant options, from the buzzing rooftop dining to the cozy garden bar, is a special experience. Offer a diverse culinary experience, highlighted by a rotating selection of craft beers and French-influenced American cuisine. You have an opportunity to experience the liveliness of a rooftop restaurant with the rotating seasonal menu at Topside. And when you are looking for a nightcap, you can have an authentic speakeasy cocktail lounge experience at B-Side. In the morning, stop by the Dashery coffee shop for one of it’s seasonal coffees or teas with the avocado toast!

This was probably the best part for me! The Dashery Cafe is such a cute and artful cafe. It had everything my heart yearned for — avocado toast with pickled onions and locally sourced coffee and teas for breakfast; and signature salads and sandwiches for lunch.
I had the maple pecan latte and it took me directly to my happy place! It was my first time visiting, but it won’t be my last.

This is the best view of Mount Vernon! If you are looking for a place that is inspiring for dinner, this is it. The Topside menu is seasonal and fresh,fig-infused brandy to “Zero Proof” drinks with Botanical Ginseng Kola, I had a hard time deciding what to get, with exciting flares of the things we love. And their drink menu is special truly special. From fig infused brandy to “Zero Proof” drinks with Botanical Ginseng Kola, I had a hard time deciding what to get but everything was delicious!

This hotel has an overflow of experiences that will feed your soul while making unforgettable memories while visiting. This is a hotel that is perfect for a solo trip, but is also a go-to when you need an event space for special events, private rooms, or for intimate date nights. The following are a few things to experience while visiting:

Sometimes you just need to sing off key and laugh about it! I was so excited to find the private karaoke rooms at Revival Hotel in Baltimore. This is truly a unique and unexpected treat at the hotel. You can book a private karaoke room for yourself or a party.
Each karaoke room is uniquely different with the best comfy decor that will make you feel like you are right at home. The brown leather couches made me feel like I could truly sink in and let myself go.
And the best part is that each room is soundproof, so you don’t have to worry about anyone judging you when you start singing a little off key!
Baltimore Speakeasy – B-Side
This is one my husband and I’s favorite date night experiences. It gives you a real speakeasy vibe with the secret door and quaint sitting area. I always feel like I travel back in time when I visit. And, it is a vibe that always gives us something on intimate date nights.
The hand-crafted cocktails are the highlight of the show here. So, be prepared to experience new styles and flavors of drinks.
Mount Vernon Attractions to Experience
Hotel Revival Baltimore is ideally located for exploring the city’s vibrant attractions. It’s a stone’s throw away from the University of Maryland, making it a convenient base for academic visits or exploring campus events. Sports fans will appreciate the short walk to M&T Bank Stadium, home of the Baltimore Ravens. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by some of the best historically charming places to visit in Baltimore. You can immerse yourself in the city’s rich history and cultural offerings, ensuring a memorable and dynamic experience. And, this is just outside your hotel room in downtown Baltimore’s historic Mount Vernon neighborhood.
Historical Peabody Library
Personally, one of my favorite things to do when staying at the Revival Hotel is walking over to the famous Peadbody Library. This historical library is one of my favorite places to visit in the city. It is filled with so much history and culture that I always leave inspired to take on what is next in my life. This is also the place my husband proposed to me. So to me, it is the perfect place for a little charm city day date.

Hotel Revival Baltimore offers year-round curated events the flow with the seasons, as well as, the need for connection within the art and wellness inspired community. From it’s Charm Community Kickback, highlighting amazing local businesses and everything Baltimore has to offer, helping individuals connect. To it’s “The Remedy” themed event focusing on the inner work of creating balance, strength and softness. This bouquet style hotel will give you a reason to visit during every season.
My Personal Favorite Time to Visit Hotel Revival Baltimore
Personally, I think the best time to visit Hotel Revival Baltimore is when you are in need of a self-care getaway! This can come at any time of the year. But, for me, right before the holiday season starts, retreating to Revival to fill my cup up before the busyness of the holidays takes over.
The American Psychological Association found that 38% of people say their stress increases during the holidays. So if you are thinking you need a break in the mist of the holidays, I hope this post inspires you to do.

My Overall Review of Hotel Revival in Baltimore
This luxury art-centric boutique is a true gem! If you are looking for a vibrant experience that gives you the space to creatively flow, this is a must visit. It is intentionally designed to spark the joy of life within you, and it is a seasonal must visit.
When you walk around the hotel you will find artwork along the walls from local artist, rooms that give you a warm modern, and a historic feel on the rooftop with the garden space and Topside restaurant. The Revival Hotel is filled with everything that makes a getaway fulfilling. And the friendly staff that I always spark a conversation with about new art or well known pieces you find throughout the hotel is a testament to how unique this place with it’s top-notch guest services.
Overall score for my visits is a 9 out of 10!
